5 Stars Life Changing
I’ve never written a review before, but I have to with this one. I’ve read some of the 3stars and below, all stating that this is regurgetated information. This may be true, except that Newberry’s approach is interactive. You do the exercises and you THINK and you CREATE. You don’t simply just take in information.
I also found the book to be quite motivational and comprehensive covering topics ranging from getting your mission statement, to effective goal setting, time management, affirmations, visualization with amazing tips and techniques for each. Newberry leaves you lacking nothing.
I’ve also read his first edition which completely CHANGED my life, business life, personal life etc. This edition seemed to have more biblical quotes than I remember the last one having (which bothered me a tad). But I have to say.. This is one of my all time favourite, best books ever. Practical, concise and thorough.
5 Stars More than a motivational book
More than just another motivational book, this is a “how to” manual. I created a business book club amongst the managers in my company and hands down this was the most beneficial reading of the year. Most books lacked execution. My managers would read them, talk about them and then put them on the shelf serving no purpose greater than to impress others with the multitude of business books they have read. “Success Is Not An Accident” was presented in such easy to follow steps that everyone found it doable. At varying degrees, every member of my team put this book into action! Unprecedented!
5 Stars A perfect beginning of the year read!
Newberry provides the basics of everything that you need for goals- setting and achieving in one package. I appreciated the bullet point approach to details that were worth taking notes on. My copy is bleeding yellow from the highlighter.
5 Stars Excellent- Home run for Life Management
Newberry hit a home run with this excellent life management resource. If you have the “Will to Win” and discipline to excel, then this book is for you.
It is now my private “give-away” book for those with opportunity, replacing Hill’s Think and Grow Rich.
5 Stars Great Kick in the pants book
This is a great book to kick yourself in the pants if you find yourself stuck in a rut. This book will help you on the path to find direction in your life. It will help you find purpose if you don’t have one. I will say that it does talk a lot about religion, so if your not religious then you may want to avoid this one.
